The Dashboard now includes filtering capabilities that allow users to customize their analytics and social insights views. These filters enable users to focus on specific communities and topics, providing more targeted and relevant data analysis.

Why Community-Level Filtering?
Community-level filtering helps you focus on what matters most by eliminating noise from irrelevant data. Instead of analyzing all communities together, you can:

Filter by specific communities to understand audience-specific behavior
Make data-driven decisions tailored to different segments
Getting Started
Before using the new filtering features, ensure you have:
Access to the Social+ Dashboard
Data available for your selected time period (current default: 30 days)
Quick Tour
Navigate to Social Insights
Log into your Social+ dashboard
Click on Analyze in the left sidebar under Social Insight
You'll see the main analytics view with filtering options at the top
Understanding the Interface
Filter Bar: Located at the top of the analytics page
Topic Drop-down: Left drop-down for selecting topics
Community Drop-down: Right drop-down for selecting communities
Date Range: Shows current analysis period (e.g., "7 days 21 Nov 2023 - 27 Nov 2023")
Default View
Initially, you'll see data aggregated across all available communities
Total mentions will show the complete dataset (e.g., "457,989 in 234,124 posts")
All products and sentiment data will be displayed without filters
Now that you're familiar with the interface layout, it's time to start applying filters to gain more precise insights. Let's explore how to use topic and community filters to refine your data view.
Topic Filtering:
Click on the Topic: Select topic drop-down
Choose a relevant topic (e.g., "Thai Cuisine Recipes")
Observe how combining filters provides even more targeted insights
Community Filtering:
Click on the Community: Select community drop-down
Browse the available communities or use the search box
Select one community to start (e.g., "Fashion & Style")
Watch as the data automatically updates to show community-specific insights
Notice how metrics like total mentions and sentiment scores change
